He did his schooling from PPS Nabha, (Patiala) up to 10th class & completed his 12th from DAV College Chandigarh, he excelled in sports as he represented his school/college in hockey, cricket, cross country, and swimming team. He completed his BDS with one-year internship from MR Ambedkar Dental College Banglore in 1994. He was the topper in boys in college as well as good at co-curricular activities.

He had also worked under the guidance of Dr. SP Aggarwal at Green Park Institute of Dental Science from 1994-95 in South Delhi.

Joined Gelaram Dental Hospital as consultant and worked independently managing 80 patients OPD every day from 1995-2000. Worked at Muni Maya Ram Jain Hospital from 2000-01 as visiting consultant.

Established current set up in 2000 with the name of Dr. Garg Dental Care and Cure Center.

He opened fledged set up with two chairs and all the latest facilities and technology with visiting specialist consultants.

Renovated set up in 2015 to expand and accommodate more chairs with the latest technology. He rebranded it as Dental Hive: a unit of Dr. Garg Dental Care and Cure Center.
